How to select your
Maelstrom Power Shower System
Your Techflow Maelstrom Power Shower System
contains all you need for a safe, thermostatically controlled yet whisper-quiet
power shower installation.
Techflow gives you the choice of four kits
offering different options of fixed or flexible shower head and different
options of pump power/function.
FIXED
SHOWER HEAD

If you require a fixed
installation this elegant shower head is ideal.
A plated brass arm with a ball
& socket joint gives a variable shower angle. The easy-clean shower head
detaches easily and the bezel ring adjusts the functions. |
FLEXIBLE
SHOWER HEAD
 |
If your requirement is for a
flexible system this smooth contoured easy-clean unit offers a detachable
handset on a flexible large bore hose which clips into an adjustable riser rail
offering easy height and angle adjustment. The multi-function handset features
an easy-clean shower head. |
HOSES
 |
Four heavy-duty braided metal
flexible connecting hoses are supplied in each system. ‘Push-fit’
connectors ensure easy installation. Fitting kit and instructions
supplied. |
MIXER
This
thermostatic shower valve
features a temperature limit button (with override) for safety. Sure-grip
ON/OFF FLOW CONTROL and TEMPERATURE CONTROLS. Easy-clean cover plate conceals
valve inlets.

limiting button with over-ride feature to ensure safe use by the very young and

Combination/Multipoint Boilers, Unvented or Pumped Hot Water Systems. Will
compensate for pressure differentials of up to 20:1
- Bottom outlet available for
thermostatic control of bath fill
- All materials selected to comply
with UK Water Fittings Bylaws Scheme
- Finish options: White, Chrome,
Chrome and Gold, Gold
PERFORMANCE
The Maelstrom
QT45 System will provide you with an invigorating performance of up to 15
litres/minute* at 1.0 bar and the Maelstrom QT80 System up to 18 litres/minute*
at 1.8 bar.
* Dependent upon method of
installation and position of pump.

A QT45 pump is supplied with 3
function head systems, and a QT80 pump is supplied with 4 function head
systems.

NEGATIVE HEAD
SITUATIONS
The QT pump will not
operate in a negative head situation (where the shower
head is above - or less than 300mm below the under side of the cold water
storage tank). Please use the FAQ or
